A LETTER TO OMOTOLANI

Image
To Omotolani, After all this time, I'm writing to you to let you know that I am aware of your unspoken concerns and that you are making an effort to maintain your composure. I am able to look behind your quiet and also the load, the regrets, the failures, and the hope. Unfortunately, I'm traveling because I'm looking for a reason. My focus may seem to be elsewhere, but I can see. After suffering comes development, and as the seed of insight grows, I am able to perceive the struggle against the odds and the yearning to get out of this quicksand.   I observe the daily race against time that society is forcing us to participate in while our race is left behind and pushed to emerge from an unfavorable soil. I observe every damaged soul running away from the source of inner peace.    I'm writing to let you know that I've embarrassed manhood by crying for love for the first time and suffering heartbreak as all the memories I've made are drowned to prevent ag...

The most notable of these rocks happens to be the Olumo Rock which is now a center of Tourist attractions.  The student society of History and international studies, LASU Chapter on excursion decided to visit this historical site and indeed they had fun and learned new things about the rocks you'll never find surfing the web 😜.  However beautiful moments were captured and here are ten pictures you don't want to miss from the excursion.  Number 1. Student life isn’t as easy as it seems…

It’s about time we popped the bubble, parents and friends telling us that we lay about all day eating cans of baked beans, get drunk most nights and constantly try to sponge off them. Well we’re here to out the record straight. IT’S NOT THAT SIMPLE. Except the last one, we may do that a little bit. Let’s bust some of those commonly spread student life myths…  We work, HARD. Yes honestly we do! Many of us are juggling jobs and degrees at the same time. Some have kids and other responsibilities whilst at university. Not everyone is a party animal Similar to the ‘real world’ most people like to go to bed at a reasonable hour and get up at a reasonable hour too. After all we do have work we need to be doing… We do cook Anything from Indomie to cook dinner, we do cook, just sometimes we don’t have the time to!
